MacApp
MacApp is an object-oriented application framework that provides many of the basic features of a standard Macintosh application. MacApp handles the details of working with the Mac OS, allowing you to concentrate on your areas of expertise.
Macintosh Programmer’s Workshop (MPW)
Macintosh Programmer’s Workshop (MPW) is a robust environment for Macintosh development. MPW provides a programming shell, as well as a collection of tools, scripts, libraries, and interfaces, that you can use to build, manage, optimize, and test your code.
MacsBug
MacsBug is the assembly-language debugger for the Mac OS. You use MacsBug to test and debug your code by performing such tasks as examining memory, stepping through code, and tracing program execution.
ResEdit
ResEdit is an extensible, stand-alone resource editor for the Mac OS. You use ResEdit as part of your software development process to create icons, menus, and other resources for applications and files.
