Internet Explorer 4.01 (Macintosh)

Microsoft’s port of the Internet Explorer web browser to the Macintosh. At the time, Netscape Navigator was the preferred browser for most people. In 1997 as part of Apple’s deal with Microsoft, IE was to be made the default browser shipping with all Macs as opposed to Netscape.
